As for companies:
The match started at 4 p.m. in Kitzbühel, Austria.
Ferencváros took a two-goal lead into the break through Owusu Kwabena and Aleksandar Pesic against the 2023–24 UEFA Europa Conference League winners from England, who first scored a goal from a free kick in the second half and then equalized in the last minute. It was FTC’s final preparation match before next week’s qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League, where they will face the winner of the first qualifying round tie between The New Saints FC of Wales and FK Dečić of Montenegro at the Groupama Arena (home of FTC) in Budapest.
The Hungarian club has been doing well with its contracts lately: a three-year cooperation agreement has been signed between Borsodi Brewery and Sportfive Hungary, the official marketing agency of FTC. The agreement is a pioneering one in Europe, as the Groupama Arena is the first stadium to have Coors as its official beer.
In addition, Fradi’s online campaign is soaring as the project, involving hundreds of celebrities, has already reached around four million followers with news of the new jersey sponsor. According to Világgazdaság, FTC sold almost 1,300 jerseys worth more than HUF 30 million (EUR 76,596) in three days, 16% of last year’s volume.
The green and white football club is optimistic about the future, as they could earn hundreds of millions of forints from the sale of the jerseys over the next year.
