Six iconic Budapest beer bars offering 42 craft beers on tap will be open for tasting throughout the summer with a beer passport. The Bakancslista (Bucket list) Underground publication promotes draft beer and recommends unique downtown beer bars to visitors, turizmus.com reported.
With a single beer passport, you can sample six small-batch breweries in Budapest, a total of 12 glasses of draft beer, with the Bakancslista Underground beer passport. The publication is the eighth installment of a highly successful series.
The main message of the series’ creators is that draft beer is always fresher than beer in cans or bottles, so it is worth choosing it whenever possible, not only from an environmental point of view, but also to achieve the best possible beer experience.
The Bakancslista Underground beer passport is a scratch card booklet that can be redeemed at six pubs (Beer People, Csapszék Ráday, Kandalló Pub, Nine Pub, Tacet Brewpub, Tompa Angyal Bisztró & Kávézó) for two free beers per visit in Budapest.
This year’s Bakancslista Underground beer pass features venues that perfectly represent Budapest’s unique pub culture.
“There is a craft bar beloved by beer tourists, a beer-focused bistro on the edge of the party district, a popular meeting place in Ferencváros, and an internationally renowned microbrewery on Ráday Street,” said Gábor Knap, editor-in-chief of Beerporn.hu, which publishes Bakancslista.
The beer passport can be purchased for only 3,890 forints (9.75 euros) and is valid until August 31.
