Mr. Várhelyi highlighted notable progress in candidate countries. Serbia was urged to advance reforms and align more closely with EU policies, particularly regarding its relation to Kosovo. Moldova was commended for its recent pro-EU referendum despite Russian interference. Kosovo, enjoying visa-free travel since January, was encouraged to push reforms.
