Elon Musk’s Cybertruck Can be Seen in Budapest until Saturday

Hungary Today 2024.06.13.

Tesla’s strange-looking electric pickup truck, consisting of flat stainless steel sheet panels, recently started its journey across Europe, and yesterday it arrived in Hungary. The Cybertruck is on display at the Tesla showroom in Budapest between June 13-15.

Elon Musk, Tesla’s founder and CEO, says that he only lets perfect work out of his hands – as far as circumstances allow. This is essential if the Cybertruck is to put Tesla straight to the top of the sales charts in the overcrowded U.S. pickup truck market, dominated by the Ford F-150 series for 46 years, Világgazdaság reports.

The Tesla Cybertruck will be on display at the Tesla Salon in Budapest from June 13 to 15, until 6 p.m.

The price of Tesla’s futuristic electric pickup truck has risen one-and-a-half times to USD 60,990 since founder and CEO Elon Musk unveiled it to the public in 2019, when the company’s chief designer Franz von Holzhausen tried to smash the side window with an iron ball to demonstrate the indestructibility of its windshield.

Unfortunately, he succeeded in smashing the window, and the period since then has seen a series of similar fiascos.

After a delay of almost two years, the big day arrived; on Thursday, Tesla’s factory in Austin, where the Cybertruck is assembled, hosted a spectacular show led by Musk, where three versions of the pickup truck were unveiled, with a price tag of USD 99,990 on the top-of-the-range model.
