Fidesz European Parliament MEP Balázs Hidvéghi had reacted to US-South African billionaire Elon Musk’s attack on American oligarch George Soros. In this he pointed towards the Hungarian government’s long struggle against the global Soros network.
In his social media post the Hungarian MEP wrote that
The Soros NGOs’ are trying to destroy Western societies. Prime Minister Viktor Orbán was the first to realize and resist this. It’s good to see that other smart people follow suit.”

This was a reaction to US-South-African entrepreneur Elon Musk’s earlier post in which he claimed that the American financier’s network strives to destroy western civilization, referring to the enormous illegal migrant invasion currently ongoing in Europe.
The Soros organization appears to want nothing less than the destruction of western civilization

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has been at loggerheads with George Soros for over a decade for the billionaires’ attacks against conservative values across the globe and his open support for mass migration. In the past Viktor Orbán wrote that the Soros network is extremely active in the EP and in European politics, describing George Soros as the world’s number one oligarch who “controls political activities via a mafia-like network and exerts influence on European politics”. In turn European and US legacy media networks have accused the Prime Minister of antisemitism in reference to Soros’ Jewish roots, and labelled him far-right.
Elon Musk has recently threatened to sue George Soros and had accused the billionaire of being a threat to free speech.
