Election 2022: Turnout at 3pm 52.75%

By 3pm on Sunday, 52.75% of Hungary’s voters, 4,058,746 people had cast their ballots in the general election, the National Election Office (NVI) said.

Turnout at 3pm was highest (55.15pc) in Pest County and lowest (47.92pc) in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, in the north. Turnout in Budapest was 56.44 percent.

Turnout at the last general election four years ago was 53.64 percent, following 45.02 percent in 2014.

Referendum – Turnout at 3pm 52.18 pc

By 3pm on Sunday, 52.18 percent of Hungary’s voters, 4,014,347 people, had cast their ballots in the referendum concerning Hungary’s child-protection law, the National Election Office(NVI) said.
