Bordeaux, France

EasyJet will launch two flights a week from Budapest to Bordeaux and Nantes, available in the next winter timetable, Airportal.hu reports.

From October 26, until the end of March next year, EasyJet will operate two flights a week between Bordeaux and Budapest, on Mondays and Sundays. From October 27, until the end of the winter season, services between Nantes and Budapest will also be available twice a week on Mondays and Fridays.

Budapest Airport announced the new service to Nantes in a social media post in mid-January, but it has only now been added to the booking system. Tickets for the two new routes are now available for booking on the airline’s website.

Nantes is a jewel of France, a charming port city.

Situated near the Atlantic Ocean, the city offers a tranquil and peaceful setting compared to the capital, with stunning historic buildings, culinary and craft specialties.

The birthplace of Jules Verne has also made sure that the world-famous author’s unique world of tales comes to life, reads the airport’s post.

Bordeaux is best known for its architecture, and as a center of gastronomy, for its excellent restaurants and great wine. Bordeaux is a world capital of wine: many chateaux and vineyards await visitors on the hillsides of the Gironde, and the city is home to the world’s main wine fair, Vinexpo. As for its architectural and cultural heritage,

Bordeaux has over 362 historical monuments, making it the city with the most listed monuments in France, after Paris.
