“Keep up the good work, keep up the fight,” Donald Trump said in a video message to the Conservative Political Action Conference currently being held in Budapest. In the one minute statement played on the second, final day of the conference, the former president described Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán as “a great leader, a great gentleman,” who “just had a very big election result.”
“I was very honored to have endorsed him,” Donald Trump said about Viktor Orbán’s April 3 election victory, saying that he normally deals with 50 American states, but this time he “went a little bit astray,” to support the Hungarian Prime Minister.
“It’s really been a fight, and you had a fight, and you’re doing fantastically well and everybody appreciates it,” the former president said.
We are looking to stop a lot of the problems that are going on in the world, including in the United States. Socialism and even communism if you look at it really deeply.”
“One of these days we’ll all be together,” Trump added concluding by telling viewers to “keep up the good work, keep up the fight.”
Trump thanked Hungary’s Centre for Fundamental Rights, the American Conservative Union and CPAC for the opportunity to address the event.
The message can be found roughly thirteen minutes into the livestream.
