His talent has attracted great interest worldwide: In October 2017, The Guardianranked him as one of the most talented 17-year-old footballers in the world, and in March 2019, he was rated the 21st most talented player in the world by goal.com. In January 2020, the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) named him one of the 50 most talented footballers in the world.
