The Hungarian Defense Forces are launching a nationwide recruitment campaign to familiarize young Hungarians with the types of service and career opportunities offered by the Force. War, migration and the security challenges facing Europe have highlighted that we are living in an era of threats. Peace and security have been valorised. Strengthening, rejuvenating and modernizing the Hungarian Defense Forces is a priority in order to strengthen Hungary’s security and defense. The Hungarian Defense Forces have developed a lot in recent years and are still in the process of rejuvenation.
In the recruitment campaign that is now starting, the forces are especially looking for young people who are ready and willing to do something to protect their country, their families and their loved ones.
The army offers an attractive career path for those who, in addition to personal development, value community, camaraderie and a youthful outlook, and are also interested in high-tech military equipment.

The launch event of the recruitment campaign will take place on Monday 13 February between 11am and 4pm at the Bálna Conference Center in Budapest, where one can get a closer look at the life of soldiers, the different military equipment and try out military simulators. The recruitment day is open to those who want to get to know the Hungarian Defense Forces, weapons and military technology, cutting-edge innovation and the exhibition of the HM Military History Institute and Museum. Among other things, there will be various military demonstrations, simulators and the unique bio-lab. There will also be an opportunity to talk to recruiters or soldiers already serving in the Hungarian Defense Forces.
In the coming months, the recruitment campaign will not only take place in recruitment offices, but also on the Internet and media platforms, and recruitment events will be held throughout the country.
