Hollywood actor Dave Bautista is back in Budapest, and he confirmed that he will be spending the next few weeks in Hungary. Bautista has not come to the Hungarian capital as a tourist, but for a movie that will soon begin production and which will see a real invasion of stars: several world-famous actors will be here during the filming, including Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz.
It was revealed at the end of last year that the sci-fi comedy Alpha Gang, announced years ago by writer-director duo Nathan and David Zellner, in which alien beings attacking Earth take pity on humanity, will feature such renowned actors as Cate Blanchett, who plays the leader of the titular group of Channing Tatum, Steven Yeun, Riley Keough, Léa Seydoux, and Zoë Kravitz. BudapestReporter revealed back in April that the filmmakers had chosen the Hungarian capital as the location for filming, which is set to begin in the second quarter of 2025.
Former professional wrestler Dave Bautista has already arrived in the capital, where he has since taken part in a boxing training session, as revealed in a video shared on Flex Gym’s social media page, which the actor also commented on:
Thanks for the work, bro! I needed to get these old bones moving… See you next week”

This is not Dave Bautista’s first time visiting Hungary, as he was here previously for the filming of Dune, and two years ago his film The Killer’s Game was also shot in Budapest. On these occasions, he shared several photos from the capital.
