115 patients died of Covid over the past 24 hours, while 3,005 new coronavirus infections were registered in Hungary, koronavirus.gov.hu said on Wednesday.
The number of active infections has decreased to 113,057, while hospitals are treating 3,854 Covid patients, 357 of whom are on ventilators.
Since the first outbreak, the number of fatalities has risen to 39,009, while 1,249,694 infections have been registered. Fully 1,097,628 people have made a recovery.
So far 6,257,771 people have received a first jab, while 5,973,555 have been fully vaccinated. Fully 3,161,930 Hungarians have received a booster jab.
There are 15,599 people in official quarantine, while 9,135,056 tests have been officially carried out.
The government re-introduced compulsory mask-wearing in enclosed spaces from November 20.
