The Hungarian Corvin Chain Association (MCLT) and the Friends of Hungary Foundation (MOBA) have signed a strategic cooperation agreement to promote the mission of the two organizations through joint professional activities. The cooperation agreement was signed on November 19, 2024 at the MCLT’s headquarters in the Róheim Villa (Budapest) by Dr. E. Sylvester Vizi, President of the MCLT and Dr. István Stumpf, President of the MOBA.
The cooperation includes the organization of joint professional events, the proposal of topics and speakers for each other’s events, primarily from within the two organizations. The newly established partnership also covers the sharing of available professional data, opinions, statistics, experiences, and best practices to support each other’s work, joint publications, and the support of each other’s communication.
Dr. E. Sylvester Vizi, President of the Hungarian Corvin Chain Association, who was also the founder and for thirteen years Head of the Board of Trustees of the MOBA, pointed out:
This is a cooperation between two outstanding organizations that strive to promote and foster Hungarian identity, Hungarian culture, science, and social values, in the interest of bonum commune, the common good.”
Dr. István Stumpf emphasized:
The most important mission of the Friends of Hungary Foundation is to strengthen Hungary’s reputation and to support initiatives that represent the rich history, traditions, and values of Hungary around the world.
We are delighted to have found a partner in this spirit in the Hungarian Corvin Chain Association, a dedicated representative of national excellence.”

About the Friends of Hungary Foundation
The Friends of Hungary Foundation (MOBA) was established in 2011, with the aim of providing the community of friends of Hungary and the general public with value-oriented but impartial information on events related to Hungary and Hungarians around the world. In addition, it monitors and documents the social, cultural, scientific, and economic achievements of Hungarians worldwide, and strengthens ties between Hungarians in the homeland, diaspora, and minority communities.
The MOBA maintains contact with dozens of Hungarian organizations abroad, bringing news about Hungary to Hungarians around the world.
This is also the purpose of the Hungary Today and the sister site Ungarn Heute, published by the foundation, to provide information on current events in Hungary in English and German, respectively.
The growing readership of our media platforms abroad and at home can use them to find out about the successes and challenges of Hungary on a daily basis, in an independent way that is in keeping with the spirit of the foundation and in a way that serves Hungary’s good name.
