The Budapest International Comic Book Festival kicks off on 10 May with guests from five countries.
The festival will feature several programs, talks, a workshop, and a fair. The event, which will be attended by nine international guests from five countries, will provide an opportunity to immerse oneself in the world of comic books, the organizers said in a statement sent to MTI.
The most unique program will be the Impró! drawing and music performance, during which eight Hungarian comic book creators will draw live to the DJ set of Balázs Zságer, while the audience will be able to follow the process on a projector and will be invited to dance and move together to the rhythm of the music and the lines. The program will take place on May 14 in the Dürer Garden.
For those interested in creating, the festival offers nine comic workshops. The organizers offer programs in English too.
