According to reports, the fleet is expanding with BYD Atto 3 models, with two being added at a time. The first car, already upgraded, was photographed in front of the police headquarters in Budapest, with the second soon to be in service.

BYD, the world’s largest electric car manufacturer currently building a factory in Szeged, in southern Hungary, has introduced three models in Europe.

However, the Atto 3 is anticipated to achieve the greatest success. The compact SUV manages to be cheaper than its rivals while performing as well as them.

Fact

The BYD Atto 3 is similar in category to the Kia Niro EV and Hyundai Kona. In Europe, it is only available with the larger 60.5 kWh battery pack, powering the front wheels with a 204 hp electric motor. The car reaches from zero to 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds and has a top speed of 160 km/h.
