Budapest Zoo Awaits Visitors with Special Halloween Family Activities

On Friday evening, the Budapest Zoo and Botanical Garden awaits visitors with a special Halloween evening from 6 to 11 pm with, among other activitiess, a snake petting zoo, shark show, giant spider web weaving, fire jugglers, a test of courage, witch’s kitchen, and family pumpkin carving.

Halloween is not until next week, but the Budapest Zoo will be holding an exciting Halloween evening on Friday. The zoo will be open as usual on that day, closing in the afternoon and reopening at 6pm to welcome visitors to its Halloween celebrations. Visitors can stay at the zoo until 11pm after the evening’s activities.

The public can enjoy 20 different programs, from the “Path of Horrors” and an insect show, to a poisonous and scary plants exhibit, a test of courage, a witch’s kitchen, and a giant spider web weaving.

During the event, there will also be digital caricature-making, a logic table, fairy garden, a fortune-telling witch hut, as well as a pumpkin carving workshop.

Visitors can also enjoy animal shows such as a giant snake show, a camel and hoofed animal show, and even shark and snake feeding.

Educational lectures will also take place in the evening, including how dangerous sharks are and whether bats are something to be afraid of.

There will be fire juggling and fire dance shows, as well as LED light juggling shows at three different locations in the zoo, as well as a spectacular light painting display in seven locations.
