From November 10 until the end of the month, BKV Combinos are back on the road with their mustaches to encourage people to get screened for prostate cancer. The Budapest Public Transport Company (BKV) and the Budapest Transport Center (BKK) participated for the second time in the campaign, supported by Astellas Pharma, whose main goal is to raise awareness among men about the importance of prostate cancer screening and early detection.

Each November, the global campaign raises awareness of men’s health issues and how to prevent them by wearing a mustache. With regular screening, prostate cancer can be diagnosed and treated in time. Nevertheless, it is one of the main causes of death among men in Hungary, with 6,000 new cases and 1,500 deaths per year.
