Budapest Music program is concluding its 10th anniversary season with a special event on Saturday at Millenáris Széllkapu Park (Budapest’s 2nd district).
The celebration will feature interactive programs, classical and world music concerts. Evening performances include Myrtill Micheller, Tibor Pintér, and the Götz Saxophone Quartet. This season, the Budapest Music program has organized 60 free concerts in iconic open-air venues and historic squares, showcasing over 100 artists.
The all-day program at Zenepark offers activities for all ages, including new world music from the Far East.
Starting at 4 p.m., children can enjoy an interactive musical playground and create origami paper instruments. The family music program features brass players in hussars’ costumes performing Renaissance and Baroque music, followed by the Capriccio String Quartet’s concert titled “The Gems of Classical Music.”
An interactive storytelling concert by the Campanelli chime ensemble will take place at 5:30 p.m, followed by a performance by the Dobolda Japanese drum group at 6 p.m. The Four Bones Quartet will present a world music concert titled “Music of the Peoples Around the World” at 6:30 p.m. The event will conclude with a joint concert by Myrtill Micheller and Tibor Pintér’s voice-guitar duo, and the Götz Saxophone Quartet at 7 p.m.
