A Hungarian-developed complex management system for hotels, combined with a smart hotel app, has been launched. The Hotelify smart hotel app, which is available on both the App Store and Google Play, covers the entire hotel stay process from booking to check-out. Hotelify helps guests to access hotel services via their mobile phones and supports operators in achieving significant digitalization and efficiency gains for a more cost-effective and professional accommodation operation.
The market for smart hotels has shown dynamic growth in the past and is forecast to explode in the coming years, reports Világgazdaság.
More than 40 percent of hotels plan to implement smart technologies to improve the guest experience in the near future.
“Our goal in assessing the needs of the hotel industry was to move beyond residential homes and condominiums to conquer new areas using the most advanced technologies available and bring our innovative smart solutions to hotels. Hotelify contributes to enhancing the guest experience by providing faster and more efficient communication, as well as helping to manage human resources according to the needs and thus reduce operational costs, in the spirit of professional hotel management,” explained Péter Szarvas, founder-owner of Chameleon Smart Home, developer of the app.
More than 100 features are available in the Hotelify mobile app, including smart room technologies based on smart home solutions (e.g. smart lighting and climate control), digital services and communication (ordering and tracking hotel services over the phone, chat), contactless services (express check-in and check-out, digital keys), sustainability and energy efficiency (energy-saving equipment and lighting, smart energy monitoring and optimization systems), and full use of data and analytics.
Using the app, visitors can place specific orders from their mobile phone; book a massage appointment, call room service, or even easily book their cleaning needs.
