A Charity concert that includes Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s former actor colleagues, got the green light from the capital’s 9th district (opposition-backed) mayor Krisztina Baranyi, and will be held at Ferencváros’ Bakáts Square.
At the charity concert, titled “Life will win,” several famed Ukrainian artists, including Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s former actor colleagues, will perform.
As a matter of fact, the show will visit several European cities, such as Vienna, Bucharest, Berlin, and Madrid. In Poland last Friday, for example, some 12,000 people were in attendance.
The Hungarian edition’s goal is to provide an opportunity to express solidarity with the war’s victims, as well as to express support for Ukraine’s fight for independence.
Originally, the government would have hosted the concert in Várkert Bazár, however, due to reasons unknown, it pulled out of the organization just days before the event. Soon, Baranyi and the 9th district announced to step in with the mayor, additionally requesting that the donations collected in Budapest be used for humanitarian and medical purposes.
