Another extended paratrooper basic training course took place at the Kiss József 86th Helicopter Brigade of Hungarian Defense Forces, organized by the Special Parachute Training Center in July, reports Honvédelem.hu

Candidates from three corps of the Hungarian Defense Forces arrived in Szolnok, eastern Hungary. In addition to the host, soldiers from the Vitéz Bertalan Árpád 1st Special Operations Brigade and the Bornemissza Gergely 2nd Reconnaissance Regiment of the Hungarian Defense Forces participated in the training.

During the training, they mastered the folding and handling of the circular dome parachute, regularly used by the Hungarian Armed Forces, as well as emergency procedures, which they could also try out virtually in the parachute training simulator.

As a final event, the candidates performed a parachute jump at night, in a group formation, on difficult terrain, with weapons and equipment.
