Budapest’s Liszt Academy of Music has announced its international Composers 2022 competition with Oscar-winning American composer John Corigliano being jury chair.
The competition invites pieces to be submitted by composers of all nationalities aged under 40 for violin and piano until August 23, the academy told MTI on Friday.
The prize-winning works will be presented at a gala concert at the Liszt Academy on November 26.
The Bartók World Competition was launched in 2017 to mark the composer’s 135th birth anniversary. For this year’s competition details visit this site.
