The Balaton Shipping Company (Bahart) decided to pay HUF 150,000 (EUR 410) to those employees who take the coronavirus vaccination until December 15.
According to the state-owned company, employees who receive their jab until December 15 will receive the compensation in five days. The premium also applies for those who have already been inoculated.
Workers who cannot be vaccinated now for some reason or have already had the disease will have until March 15 to take the jab. Bahart highlights the importance of having a protected, vaccinated workforce to serve the public by the start of the spring season.
