The Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC) university program offers scholarships abroad, career opportunities, free language courses, and accommodation, among other benefits, for students graduating from high school this year and apply by June 30.

In their press release, the MCC emphasized that students would receive courses from experts, including national and international guest lecturers, and other educators. The program is designed to provide small-group, personalized, multidisciplinary training, which complements traditional higher education in Hungary, and is offered free of charge.

The MCC’s primary goal is to ensure that the education of young people is not contingent on their financial circumstances but solely on their abilities and motivation.

They believe that talented Hungarian students should have the opportunity to utilize the knowledge they acquire during their studies abroad responsibly, benefiting their country and close environment.

The program’s initial phase, the junior training, covers various subjects, including argumentation, debate culture, political philosophy, and micro/macro economics. Additionally, there is a strong emphasis on practical foreign language training.

For those accepted into the junior program, cultural and recreational activities are provided, along with dormitory accommodation. Subsequently, students have the option to continue their studies in the school system and later in the management academy, as well as in postgraduate programs.

This year, the training has already commenced with over 600 students, with undergraduate courses in several cities.

In these university cities, the fourth junior year will commence in autumn 2024. Currently, the MCC offers courses in 28 locations across the Carpathian Basin, with over 7,300 students enrolled.

The MCC highlighted that one of the pillars of its talent management program is supporting students with scholarships. Last year, their international scholarship program provided around 300 students with the opportunity to study at the world’s top universities or pursue studies abroad.

The MCC is inviting applications from all students starting their first academic year in the autumn semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, who wish to enroll as full-time students at the universities of Budapest, Debrecen, Győr, Miskolc, Pécs, and Szeged. Admission to the program is free of charge for accepted students.
