Aerosmith has canceled their European Tour. This affects their Budapest concert as well, which was supposed to take place on July 10, 2022.
Back in December, even the opening bands were announced for the Budapest show – which would have been Rival Sons and Hungarian veteran rockers, ROAD. However, now the event has been canceled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and epidemic risk.
The concert was already postponed several times due to the coronavirus pandemic. Live Nation Hungary, which organized the Budapest concert, shared the news on the page of the Facebook event and re-posted Aerosmith’s statement.
The band posted the following announcement on their Facebook page:
According to Live Nation, those who purchased a ticket will be refunded: “If you have purchased your tickets online via livenation.hu and funcode.hu, our ticketing partner will be in touch very soon at your registered email address with further information. If you bought the tickets at a ticket outlet, please send an email to refund@funcode.hu for further steps.”
