President Áder Welcomes Fishing Development in Lake Balaton Area

MTI-Hungary Today 2021.08.09.

Traditional fish species of the Lake Balaton could again become available in larger quantities thanks to Balaton Halgazdálkodási Nonprofit Zrt, which now has five fisheries of a combined area of 1,000 hectares, President János Áder said in his podcast dubbed Blue Planet broadcast on Monday.

He added that the fisheries could provide water quality similar to that of the Balaton, and raise such traditional fishes as carp, pike, and catfish.
