There is a worldwide manhunt for politicians who stand up to the international liberal mainstream and courageously represent the national interest, wrote Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó on his social media account.

In the United States, the most likely candidate in the next presidential election is being blocked by new indictments, a leading politician from the most likely party in the autumn parliamentary elections has been arrested in Slovakia, and in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the democratically elected leader of the Serb community has been indicted.

The international liberal mainstream does not shy away from any kind of heavy-handed intervention, police or judicial means, if it feels its power is threatened. They fear the will of the people like wildfire.

But why do not Transparency International, Amnesty, the Helsinki Committee ….. speak out? Obviously because they are on the international liberal mainstream payrolls, wrote Péter Szijjártó.

In his post he alluded to the charges brought against former U.S. President Donald Trump who, while being one of the most popular candidates for the 2024 U.S. presidential elections, has also been indicted and is facing four criminal investigations against him. In Slovakia Tibor Gaspar, a former police captain and a candidate for the leading opposition party (SMER) was briefly arrested last week, then released. In Bosnia Milorad Dodic has been indicted, while also being on a US sanctions list.

The post could, however, also be interpreted as a veiled reprimand towards Germany, where there is increasing talk about the national-conservative party, the AfD being banned. German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier said last week that “we all have it in our hands to put those who despise our democracy in their place”, a clear reference to the AfD and their voters.
