RB Leipzig goalkeeper Péter Gulácsi has once again shown generosity off the pitch, donating his €7,500 bonus to a local children’s hospice after winning the “Die weiße Weste” award for the 2024–2025 Bundesliga season, Nemzeti Sport reports.
The award, given annually to the goalkeeper with the most clean sheets in Germany’s top football division, was claimed by Gulácsi for the third time, following previous wins in 2019 and 2021. Only Bayern Munich legend Manuel Neuer has earned the honor more often, with eight titles to his name.
The veteran goalkeeper, recently retired from the Hungarian national team, kept 14 clean sheets in 30 league appearances this season, helping RB Leipzig to another strong Bundesliga campaign.
As part of the recognition, he received a €7,500 bonus, which he donated in full to the Kinderhospiz Bärenherz, a Leipzig-based hospice that provides care for terminally ill children.
This marks the third time Gulácsi has chosen to support the hospice with his award winnings, continuing a personal tradition of philanthropy. His ongoing commitment to the cause has earned him admiration both within the football world and the wider Leipzig community.
