The young couple has entered a new phase in their lives, as one of the most famous figures in Hungarian football has now become a father. The 24-year-old national team captain spoke to story.hu in an exclusive interview about the touching event.
It was the most special moment of my life when I held our little girl in my arms for the first time. No victory or gold medal can compare to the birth of my child. That moment will stay with me forever, and it is certain that from now on, many things will change in our lives,”
said Szoboszlai, who also revealed that fatherhood is not only a huge responsibility but also a source of extraordinary joy.
“Being a father is, on the one hand, a huge responsibility, but on the other, it is one of the most beautiful gifts. Obviously, I still have to get used to this role, and there will probably be some difficult nights, but I am sure that I will enjoy every minute of fatherhood. My wife has been heroic throughout, and she deserves all my gratitude. Now I am fighting on the pitch not only for myself, but also for them,” he said emotionally.
The English champion Liverpool player announced the happy news on Sunday morning with a photo shared on his social media page. “Your birth means the world to me. Thank you, my love, for bringing her into our life,” wrote Szoboszlai.
