Applications are once again being accepted for the Kőrösi Csoma Sándor and Petőfi Sándor programs supporting Hungarian communities, announced Lőrinc Nacsa, State Secretary for National Policy.
According to Lőrinc Nacsa, the programs have become the flagship of Hungarian national policy in recent years, and he summarized their essence as follows: “to serve the Hungarian people, and return home strengthened in Hungarian identity.”
In the video, the state secretary pointed out that more than a thousand scholarship holders have already helped Hungarian communities around the world through the two programs, and this time applicants can travel as scholarship holders to countries in the northern hemisphere, the United States, Canada, European countries, Singapore, and Türkiye, as well as to Hungarian communities in the Carpathian Basin.
According to the announcement, applications are welcome from Hungarian citizens aged 18 or over who are committed to the nation and have no criminal record, whether from Hungary or from abroad.
“We welcome all those who would like to take part in the adventure of a lifetime—helping Hungarian communities living in the diaspora or as minorities strengthen their identity through their knowledge,” he said.
The deadline for submitting applications is July 6, 2025.
