In the heart of Budapest, St. Stephen’s Basilica was recently turned into a festive winter landscape — complete with snow and Christmas decorations — for the filming of the high-profile new action series 12/12/12, starring Jamie Dornan (Fifty Shades of Grey, A Haunting in Venice) and Anthony Mackie (Captain America, The Hurt Locker).
Jamie Dornan has reportedly been in Budapest for over ten days, shooting scenes across the city, while Anthony Mackie joined him more recently. TikTok users and local fans spotted Mackie on set last week in front of the Basilica, where a scene set during the Christmas season was being filmed.

Dornan filmed similar scenes in Budapest’s 6th district earlier, near Andrássy Avenue, where streets were also dressed in holiday ornaments and artificial snow.
