The special immersive exhibition that has captivated audiences across two continents has arrived in the Hungarian capital and has opened its doors, bringing to life the most famous paintings of one of the world’s most renowned painters, Gustav Klimt. The Kiss, Lady with a Fan, and Death and Life, along with several other famous Klimt works, will come to life in a digital space where visitors can immerse themselves in the golden age of Viennese Art Nouveau using the latest technology.
The second son of an Austrian goldsmith, Gustav Klimt’s unique world continues to fascinate audiences around the world more than a century after the artist’s death.
The interactive exhibition Gustav Klimt: The Immersive Experience, uses state-of-the-art technology to introduce visitors to the world of Klimt.
The 2,000 square meter exhibition space brings to life the most famous works of the Austrian painter, founder of the Viennese Secession and iconic figure, Lady with a Fan, Death and Life, and of course, The Kiss. The latter is perhaps the most reproduced painting by the master of Art Nouveau, whose meaning and appeal have been interpreted by many, according to the organizers.
At the Klimt exhibition, two gigantic, detailed installations introduce visitors to every layer of the most famous paintings.
