Milos Kerkez has already impressed in the Premier League after his 2023 transfer, but it was really in his second season that he managed to grab attention. So much so that Europe’s top clubs are lining up for him. In a notable interview with The Athletic, the Bournemouth defender revealed that in his debut season, he had to get used to the physicality and tempo of the Premier League, but now he feels at home in the English league. In fact, he is not just comfortable, but excelling this season, scoring two goals and providing five assists.
Liverpool is the most likely to secure the 21-year-old player. The Hungarian international player is happy to make the move, as it would allow him to play alongside his good friend, Dominik Szoboszlai, at Anfield.
Reportedly, Atlético Madrid is also determined not to give up on Kerkez and will soon send an official offer for the player. It is also rumored that Real Madrid has not yet given up on him, as they have targeted him as a potential replacement for Theo Hernandez. Juventus is also speculated to be monitoring the situation, as they are looking to sign him as a replacement for the departing Andrea Cambiaso, who coincidentally, is also on Liverpool’s wishlist. The two London heavyweights, Chelsea and Arsenal, while interested in acquiring Kerkez, have not done much to advance their cause.
