The topic in England is how much Liverpool’s best footballers earn, including the Hungarian national team captain. Dominik Szoboszlai, being one of Liverpool’s standout signings in recent years, has a huge salary already, but he is still far from the club’s highest earners.
Dominik Szoboszlai has clearly become a key figure for the team: he is important for the starting lineup, regularly provides assists, and scores crucial goals in midfield. It is stated that Szoboszlai earns a decent salary at Liverpool, but is far from being among the highest-paid players on the team.
Based on statistics from the Capology website,
the Hungarian midfielder earns £120,000 per week at Liverpool, while his annual salary reaches £6.2 million.
However, Szoboszlai does not even rank among the top ten earners at the club. Mohamed Salah, the highest salary holder, earns £350,000 per week and £18.2 million per year; Virgil van Dijk earns £220,000 per week and £11.44 million per year; Trent Alexander-Arnold earns £180,000 per week and £9.36 million per year; Andrew Robertson earns £160,000 per week and £8.32 million per year, and Alexis Mac Allister earns £150,000 per week and £7.8 million per year. Szoboszlai is in twelfth place in this regard.
The estimated market value of several key players on the Hungarian national football team has increased in the latest update of Transfermarkt‘s database. Team captain Szoboszlai’s value has risen by €5 million, now estimated at €80 million, while Milos Kerkez’s value has increased by €7 million to €35 million.
The Bournemouth full-back is highly likely to switch clubs this summer, and there is a strong chance he will join Szoboszlai at Liverpool.
According to Football Insider, the young defender has already told his friends that he definitely wants to join the “Reds.” Liverpool has also begun negotiations for the transfer, and Bournemouth is expected to demand a realistic transfer fee between €40–50 million.
