150 Hungarian wine and sparkling wine brands will offer over 500 wines at the Winelovers Grand Tasting, where around 100 products from international wineries will also be presented this Saturday in the halls of the Corinthia Hotel Budapest.
Guests can choose from fragrant whites, light rosés, full-bodied reds, and sparkling wines from almost all Hungarian wine regions, from Tokaj to Villány, and Somló to Szekszárd, but the tasting will also feature a large number of wineries from beyond the border.
The offer will be complemented by the Hall of Top Wines and International Wines, where visitors will be able to taste specialties from countries such as France, Italy, Spain, Argentina, and Portugal.
In addition to wines, the organizers have highlighted that a wide range of other gastronomic products will complete the experience:
rums, brandies, olive oils, artisan cheeses, truffle preparations, oysters, and other delicacies will be available to taste at several exhibitors’ stands.
In addition to tastings, visitors will also be able to attend free presentations by winemakers and experts on Villány franc, sparkling beverages from around the world, the Pécs wine region, and the relationship between water and gastronomy.
People aged between 18 and 25 can enter the tasting with a discounted NextGen ticket, and they can also participate in free wine tasting training. Professional visitors and those who buy a ticket in pairs will also get a discount, the organizers said.
