Fidesz has submitted the 15th amendment to the Fundamental Law to parliament, the governing party announced on its social media page on Wednesday morning.
“The Western world is increasingly attacking norms that were previously taken for granted, especially the institution of the family and national identity,” they wrote.
The amendment responds to these challenges, they said, listing the key points:
“The amendment to the Fundamental Law was supported by all members of the governing party’s parliamentary groups. Our aim is to preserve Hungary’s fundamental values for future generations,” reads the post.
