This year, a Hungarian university was included in the International Trade Rankings 2025, compiled by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), an international university rating organization.
Corvinus University of Budapest, ranked 20th globally, is placed eighth in Europe in the Executive MBA (Master of Business Administration) category of the QS International Trade Ranking 2025, Corvinus University announced on its website.
A total of 30 institutions were shortlisted in the rankings, published in mid-February, with only Corvinus University from Hungary making it onto the list,

They emphasized that Corvinus Executive MBA has an outstanding impact on the professional careers of its participants due to several factors: its innovative and personalized leadership development process, the strength of its supportive leadership community, and the successful integration of its members into the international management community through a dual education program with MSM – Maastricht University as an international partner.
Another recently published ranking by QS evaluates full-time MBA and master’s programs based on international trade education and lists 87 courses from 30 countries.
Also for the first time as the only Hungarian institution, Corvinus University has been included with its International Economy and Business master’s program, ranking 81st.
“Being included in this elite ranking is an excellent validation of our program,” said Bruno van Pottelsberghe, Rector of Corvinus University. “The program’s international integration is well demonstrated by its nearly two-decade-long double-degree collaboration with University College London’s International Masters in Economy, State and Society program,” he added.
In the QS rankings, which focus on business education, no programs from Hungary have been represented so far, and this year only the Corvinus programs made it onto the list. In the thematic Executive MBA ranking, University of Cambridge’s Judge Business School took first place, while in the full-time MBA and master’s programs, the master’s program of Arizona State University’s business school reached the top spot.
