In a video posted on Facebook on Monday, the Prime Minister’s Political Director warned that “skeletons are falling out of the closet, one after the other.” Balázs Orbán said that the name of the US Agency for International Development, USAID, is “loud in the press,” adding that the organization was originally set up to fund humanitarian programs, but in recent years and decades it has become the main instrument of progressive, liberal, power-driven, political intervention.
“Since President Trump’s inauguration, the Biden administration’s interference in the political processes of other sovereign countries through this organization has received a lot of attention. Most of the aid has gone to Eastern Europe, the Balkans, Georgia and surrounding countries, and other developing countries. Some of the programs are linked to so-called woke diplomacy. The most extreme examples include funding for transgender opera in Colombia, gender reassignment surgery in Guatemala, and gender-friendly jobs in Serbia,” said Balázs Orbán.
In the case of Hungary, for example,
Freedom House, an organization of George Soros, received almost two million dollars to carry out a project measuring the spread of so-called liberal democracy.”
The politician noted “of course, we are no stranger to this game, we have intelligence reports that in 2022 the campaign of the liberal left-wing opposition was financed through organizations linked to George Soros.”
Balázs Orbán recalled that the former head of USAID, Samantha Power, had personally visited Budapest to “sensitize and instruct the organizations.”

He said that liberals in Brussels welcome the failed Democrats with open arms, “but we are not asking for more liberal political exports.” “The Patriots (for Europe)’s aim is to defend the sovereignty of European nations and to prevent this attempt to take over power which is harmful to us. Let’s fight!” the politician concluded.
