The CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference), “aims to make the West great again, as we are living in the years of world system change,” wrote Matt Schlapp, President of CPAC Foundation and Miklós Szánthó, Director General of the Center for Fundamental Rights (Alapjogokért Központ) and main organizer of CPAC Hungary, in a joint ‘manifesto’ published in Mandiner.
As they put it, for decades, the Western progressive elite has only been concerned with maintaining its power. “Instead of representing the interests of the American and European nations, it is flooding our countries with masses from foreign cultures, trying to re-educate our children and break up our families. One of their irresponsible decisions has now led to the outbreak and gradual escalation of a war,” they stressed, adding that “this armed conflict is crippling our economies and destroying the competitiveness of the West.”
More worrying than the economic deterioration, was the intellectual decline. “CPAC aims to reverse all this,”
they stressed.
Matt Schlapp and Miklós Szánthó summarized their priorities in ten points.

“God, Homeland, Family. Europe and America can only remain on the path to civilizational greatness if it retains its roots in Judeo-Christian ethics,” they wrote, adding that any ideology that has turned away from God has ended in tragedy.
They stressed:
The prosperity of our civilization depends on it being made up of strong, proud and independent nations. Mother, father, and children, the family, are the building blocks of society.”
The second point is ‘The Global Respect for Reality.’ Foreign policy, they said, must return to realism: respecting the sovereignty of others, while asserting our national interests in the face of real constraints. “We will settle disputes of interest by restoring the diplomatic traditions of the West, based on mutual respect but with frank discussions,” they added.
They also stressed the importance of ‘Common Sense,’ stressing that politicians must represent the interests of their nations, not abstract ideas and globalist fantasies.
A specific point is made on ‘Political Leadership,’ arguing that the immutable nature of bureaucracy is that it will become increasingly ramified over time, then self-propelled, and ultimately usurp the political power that belongs solely to citizens and their elected representatives. “It is therefore essential to keep it under strict control and to renew it regularly. The swamp of bureaucracy must be drained,” they stressed.
They emphasized that a ‘Sovereign State’ is needed.
All the organs of the apparatus and of the polity, and all their actions must be aimed at protecting citizens from external and internal threats, natural disasters; they must serve the common good, taking into account individual freedoms, duties, and interests,”
they explained.
Matt Schlapp and Miklós Szánthó also stressed that peace requires strength. “It is in the fundamental interest of every nation to live in peace. Where there is peace, peace must be preserved, where there is war, peace must be created. Our security is based on preparedness, deterrence and open, honest diplomacy,” they wrote.

They highlighted that mass migration is a crime. “Mass migration is a disaster for all: it disrupts social peace in destination countries, it robs source countries of their future, and destroys the infrastructure of transit countries. The migrants themselves become victims of traffickers,” they added.
They also mentioned the importance of “ending wokeness:” The media and culture are the means of social dialogue, they said, adding: “Over the last decade, this space has been invaded by the cult of woke, the most perverse form of liberalism, in an attempt to totally expropriate public discourse. This pernicious mind-virus must be driven out, and only by restoring freedom of speech can we do that.”
As the ninth point, they highlighted the protection of children, stating that “we must free our public education institutions, thus protecting our children from the propagators of gender ideology.” Lastly, the ‘Respect for Creation” was addressed. In this context, the authors stated: “man is man and woman is woman.” “Societies evolve organically, at the pace and in the direction set by human nature and the created world. There is no room for social engineering,” reads the ‘manifesto.’
