The feedback from Member States on the Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the EU has been very positive at expert level, the Parliamentary State Secretary of the Ministry of EU Affairs said on the M1 news channel’s Wednesday morning program.
According to Barna Pál Zsigmond, the Presidency is subject to double standards in Brussels and is constantly under attack, while the professional programs organized by the Hungarian Presidency are very successful.

He also noted that in general there is a double standard against national conservative governments, as Brussel’s left-wing leadership did not take into account the results of the elections in the European Parliament and broke all the written and unwritten rules when they squeezed out the Patriots’ group. He said that the will of 18 million European voters had been ignored by not giving them positions that would benefit their community.

The politician stressed that,
despite this, they stand up for the issues that are important to them, such as sovereignty, the fight against illegal migration and family policy.
The Hungarian presidency is also trying to achieve results in these areas, as well as in competitiveness, demography and green policy, he added.
