Wizz Air is adding a new flight to its Budapest offer in the winter schedule: from October 22, the fabulous island of Gran Canaria will be directly accessible from Ferenc Liszt International Airport, reports Turizmus.com.
Planes will fly twice a week (Tuesday, Saturday) to Gran Canaria, with ticket prices starting from HUF 20,590 (EUR 52.45), the airline announced. Gran Canaria, which belongs to Spain, is famous for its stunning natural values, beautiful valleys and secluded beaches. However, it is not only for nature lovers that the island is an ideal destination,
as it also offers a wide range of cultural and historical attractions, entertainment and gastronomic experiences.
This is the eighth flight the airline has launched to Spain, which is a sign of the country’s popularity with passengers,”
said Zsuzsa Trubek, Communications Manager at Wizz Air.
The low-cost airline has already announced the launch of several new direct flights this year. In summer 2024, travelers will be able to fly to Brussels‘ main airport (Zaventem), Brasov, Bucharest, Yerevan, Stuttgart and Valencia with the low-cost carrier. In addition, there will also be more frequent flights to Alicante, Athens, Basel, Glasgow, Madrid, Malta, Milan, Naples, Nice, Rome, Thessaloniki, Tirana, and Paris.
