The MH Pál Kinizsi 30th Armoured Infantry Brigade carried out a live firing exercise with a Lynx combat vehicle.
During the practiced scenario, they not only fired at the enemy but also distracted them with retreating fog.
In a video published by honvedelem.hu about the exercise, Lieutenant Máté Kiss said that the smoke grenades fired from the combat vehicle not only provide physical cover for the retreating Lynx, but also serve as a trap against heat-tracking projectiles and make it difficult to locate the vehicle.
Sergeant Major András Török described the Lynx as a fast, precise, and accurate tool that is a pleasure to serve with.
He stressed the importance of proper training for new recruits. He added that among the recruits, he has met some of the most highly motivated people.
In addition to the Lynx, live firing was also conducted with the Carl Gustaf M4 anti-tank grenade launcher.
