Artists, musicians, and dancers will join forces to support the Hungarians of Transcarpathia in a war situation with an evening entitled “Together for Each Other” on April 27, at the Fonó Buda Music House.
In the communique of the Fonó Buda Music House, the organizers emphasized that Hungarian solidarity extends beyond the border, and culture can help fellow human beings in difficult situations.
In the evening, we will present the diversity of folk art from Transcarpathia together with our artist friends from abroad and at home, aiming to help the Hungarians in Transcarpathia who are in a war situation,”
they stressed.
The special guests of the event will be folk musician Lajos Pál from Transcarpathia, the Transcarpathian Dance Ensemble, the Kokas Band, the Csipkés Band, the Sodró Band, the Prima Volta Band, the Cifra Ensemble, and the Paládi Boys. The hosts of the evening will be violinist and folk band leader István Pál “Szalonna,” dancer Máté Módos, photographer Levente Váradi, and folk dancer Dávid Mir Hessami. There will also be an exhibition organized from Levente Váradi’s pictures.
Other sponsors of the evening include Szalonna and his Band, the Hungarian State Folk Ensemble, and the Forrás Folk Ensemble.
