The Hungarian national team will play their last preparation match before the summer European Football Championship against Israel instead of Malta.
The Hungarian Football Federation (MLSZ) announced on Monday via the X social networking site (formerly Twitter) that the match on June 8 is scheduled to take place in Debrecen. The Israeli team will participate in a qualifying round in March to determine their eligibility for the continental tournament in Germany.

It has already been announced that the national team, led by head coach Marco Rossi, will host Turkey at the Puskás Arena on March 22,
followed by a match against Kosovo, also in Hungary, four days later. In the group stage of the European Championship, beginning on June 14, the national team will face the hosts Germany, along with Scotland and Switzerland.
