Ferencváros (FTC) will face Greece’s Olympiacos in the first round of the Conference League’s knockout stage. The Hungarian defending champion will start the round of 16 away from home on February 15.
It was also announced at Monday’s group draw at UEFA’s headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland that
the return leg will be played at the Groupama Arena in Budapest on February 22.
FTC finished second in Group F, while their Greek opponents were promoted to the Conference League as third-placed finishers in Europa League Group A.
In the first round of the knockout stage, the teams that finished third in the Europe League were drawn alongside a CL group runner-up and the latter were the top qualifiers, meaning they will play the return leg at home. Clubs from the same country were not allowed to meet.
The runners-up in the last 16 will face the CL group winners in the draw on February 23.
The Conference League final will be played in Athens on May 29.
