The editors of Condé Nast Traveler magazine in the U.S. have compiled a list of the “Best Places to go in the world 2024,” including 24 destinations that have recently added new attractions to make them even more appealing to foreigners. The first one on the list is Budapest, writes Turizmus.com.
Budapest is the first place that catches our eye when we open the list of the prestigious American travel magazine. The editors advise travelers to discover the 150-year-old city from a new perspective.
Among the highlights are the renovated Chain Bridge, the House of Music Hungary, and the National Athletics Center.
Among the hotels, they highlight the W Budapest, which opened in July, and Budapest’s newest luxury hotel, the Dorothea Hotel, which is due to open in the second half of November.
Also making the list are Kosovo, the Red Sea region in Saudi Arabia, and Chile’s San Pedro de Atacama thanks to its new national park. Ecuador’s capital, Quito, has also been added to the catalogue of recommended destinations, with more restaurants opening in the city during the year and a new metro system opening at the end of the year.
