President Novák to Work from Countryside in the Coming Days

MTI-Hungary Today 2023.06.27.

On Monday, President of the Republic, Katalin Novák, traveled to Nógrád County in northern Hungary, during which she met with county leaders and members of parliament in Alsópetény. In addition, the President announced that her office, the Sándor Palace, has moved to the countryside for the time being, with even diplomatic meetings taking place there, adding that she will also make official decisions while there.

In an unusual way, the Head of State received the ambassadors and heads of mission of Arab countries accredited to Hungary in Alsópetény, indicating that not only Budapest, but also rural settlements can host such activities of diplomacy. The meeting focused on the development of economic relations, energy security, and demographic issues.
