This year, 170 exhibitors will present their books at the 94th Festive Book Week, which will take place between June 8-11 at Vörösmarty Square and the Danube embankment in Central Budapest.
A new phenomenon is that among the 170 exhibitors in the 146 pavilions, there are more and more companies that are not publishers but regularly engage in such activities, the president of the Association of Hungarian Publishers and Book Distributors (MKKE) said at a press conference on Tuesday in Budapest, according to MTI.
Katalin Gál drew attention to the rich program of Book Week: more than 60 book launches, almost 1,000 book signings, talks, craft activities, concerts, and other “lighter” evening programs await visitors on the stages and book pavilions set up on Vörösmarty Square and Vigadó Square.
