U.S. Republican politician Kari Lake harshly criticized Joe Biden’s war narrative at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Washington, D.C. last weekend, according to a video released by the Center for Fundamental Rights (Alapjogokért Központ).
Kari Lake – who is also being touted as a possible vice presidential candidate and was running for governor of Arizona last year -made it clear in a sharply worded speech that American conservatives reject the war frenzy the left has embarked on, and that they will not accept sending hundreds of billions of dollars to Ukraine, which can only serve to start World War III.
Our American sons and daughters will not fight in your war,”
she said, referring to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“Kari Lake is not the only prominent American conservative who feels exactly the same way about the war as we Hungarians do. Once again, we have proven that we are not alone in our opinion: the continuation of the war is in no one’s interest, while an immediate ceasefire is in everyone’s interest,” the Center for Fundamental Rights argued in a video.
The Hungarian think tank is the co-organizer of CPAC in Budapest. Miklós Szánthó, Director of the Center for Fundamental Rights, also spoke at the most important event of the American conservatives on Saturday.
