Hungarian President Katalin Novák started her two-day official working visit to Israel on Wednesday.
The head of state will be meeting with Israeli President Isaac Herzog, newly elected Prime Minister Benjamin Netanjahu, and acting Prime Minister Jair Lapid.
In addition to political meetings, Katalin Novák will visit the Yad Vashem Institute, Israel’s official Holocaust Memorial Center in Jerusalem, where she will talk to Holocaust survivors and meet representatives of Christian denominations in Jerusalem.
During the visit, the President will also visit the Israeli Iron Dome missile defense system with Defense Minister Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky.
On Tuesday, Novák condemned the terrorist attack in Ariel.
